Château Jaron is located in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards, at the gateway to the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne. Philippe Libératore took over the family business in 1994, it was his union with Caroline Comin in 1998 which gave birth a few years later to Vignobles Comin-Libératore. This family-grown vineyard for more than 4 generations, currently has 40 hectares.
Drawing their sap from a clay-limestone and clay-siliceous soil, our vines are forced to take root deeply in order to find vital freshness and humidity during the hot summer months.
In 2013, he learns about the aging of wine in a jar, talks about it with their oenologist, meets a potter ... It's a new adventure that begins, a permanent focus that will last twelve months. Finally, in May 2016, an exceptional cuvée was born, it is called Giara.
