Le Souvenir français is an association under the law of 1901, founded in 1887 and recognized as being of public utility on February 1, 1906 (one of the oldest in France) which has a triple mission:
- preserve the memory of those who died for France;
- maintain the monuments erected in their memory;
- pass on the torch of remembrance to successive generations.
Le Souvenir français aims to honor the memory of all those who died for France, whether French or foreign.
