The remains of a villa from the 60th-XNUMXth centuries, still occupied at the beginning of the XNUMXth century, served as a quarry for the construction of the parish church. In Gallo-Roman times, a rural aristocratic residence (villa) stood here, centered on a large interior garden. This set features a magnificent XNUMX m² multi-lobed room and private baths. The interest of this site comes from the quality and extent of the mosaic pavements which adorned the floor of the ceremonial rooms.
