Straddling the valley and the hillsides, this circuit is dominated by vineyards. The culture of the vine (viticulture) is old on these slopes which border the valley of the Dordogne. But this activity was not always a dominant culture, evidenced by the windmills for the grain. The vine has however always been a recurring crop and essential for the economy of the region.
You can also admire a rich rural heritage such as dovecotes, mills, and wine châteaux. You will pass in front of the Château de la Bourguette. This former seigneury has become an important wine estate. You will discover its pigeon house dating from the XNUMXth century which, under the Ancien Régime, was a seigneurial privilege.
