The site retains traces of Gallo-Roman installations, a vast “cella” dug into the molasse having been discovered near the ruins of the castle and the mill located on the banks of the Soulège. Monolithic sarcophagi have also been unearthed. An old noble house “Langalerie” is established in the village.
Three stone wash houses, located in “Liret”, “Les Saurins” and “Cateau”, were restored in 1999. Built in the open air, they are bordered on one side by a plane inclined towards the water which facilitates the work of the washerwomen. Formerly a place of life, this place was abandoned in the mid-50s.
The architecture of the Town Hall building characterizes XNUMXth century buildings in neoclassical style.
The church built in 1865, built in the Romanesque style, is dominated by a square bell tower surmounted by a conical spire at the base of which stand small pinnacles, placed at the top of buttresses which extend up to on the ground accentuating the vertical momentum of the whole.
The pointed arch portal has a tympanum. Two bays of two levels of superimposed blind arcades frame the central elevation. The church has been renovated several times.
